Well we have now gone over 5,000 listens. This is so exciting for us. What will be the next milestone? 10,000 listens? Let's wait and see.
Thanks to everyone who listens to our tracks on SoundCloud we have now had over 4,000 plays. This is a fantastic figure and something neither Rich nor I could have ever hoped for. The most incredible thing is that our music is being played by people in the US, Russia, Australia, Africa and far & wide. Never when we were in our rubbish cover bands would we ever have imagined this was possible.
Thanks again and keep looking-out Wow! We just hit 3000 listens today on SoundCloud! Thanks for all your support.
We finished the crowd-style backing vocals for Wild Rover last week and created a final mix. Rich has now posted this up on SoundCloud so anyone can have a listen.
Hope you enjoy it and please feel free to give us any feedback. Simon Hi, I have just uploaded a new song onto SoundCloud. It is a cover version of Oliver's Army by Elvis Costello and the Attractions. I hope you like it. If you do, please leave a comment or two!
My first original song for years, Stop Messin' is going great guns on SoundCloud. It has been listened to 404 times in just a couple of weeks. It is also getting "liked" a lot too, and I have even had a message from one listener who says that they like it a lot and can't stop playing it. I have been absolutely blown away that the song is getting listened to so much.
Thank you everyone. Rich Ha Ha. Yes we have passed the 1000 listen barrier on SoundCloud. In fact by the end of today we will hit 1,200 listens. I find this quite unbelievable really and I am really pleased that people seem to like our stuff.
Next stop 2,000 listens We have completed some new songs which have been uploaded for your enjoyment.
Amsterdam is the 10th track on the Short Stories album. We have also uploaded "China Girl" and Well Did You Evah" which were completed over Christmas. China Girl was originally performed by David Bowie and Well Did You Evah was performed by Bing Crosby and Frank Sinatra in the film High Society. Hope you enjoy them! We have nearly reached 400 listens to our tracks on SoundCloud now. This has been greatly helped by our version of 'End of the world as we know it' which has now had 69 listens. Up 771%.
Who have thought it. I suppose we have the Mayans to thank for that! |
